Description: Enterprise People are currently seeking an Applications Analyst for a leading Dublin (Hybrid) based client.

Our client provides financial solutions and services through their bespoke technology reporting platform including Reinsurance, Technology and Transaction Services for a range of international clients.

Reporting to the Applications Manager, the Applications Analyst will join our client’s existing team who are responsible for providing high-quality application and systems support for their Global Financial Reporting platform. (full training provided)

The Applications Analyst will:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Become adept on the core business platform, applications and associated services
• Proactively review, action, monitor and report on on-going service requests from clients to ensure successful resolution
• Address through investigation any issues that are escalated for attention
• Perform and support testing for: System releases and upgrades, defect fixes and enhancements to system functionality
• Engage with clients as part of the Service Management Function; and to assess their existing practices
• Work with process owners (internal and clients) to address issues, inefficiencies and to mitigate any risks
• Analyse existing systems and processes to identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• A 3rd Level Business or IT Qualification
• Experience working in an IT or Business Support role
• Good MS Office Suite experience
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Keen interest in learning new technologies
• Financial Systems experience would be an advantage but not essential
• Stamp 4 Visa or EU Passport
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
