Enterprise People are currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a world leader in their field.

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will join our client’s existing IT Operations team who are responsible for ensuring the highest level of systems performance and availability in a 24 x 7 environment including datacentre, Cloud, hardware / software upgrades, data and network security.

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage day-to-day health, security, and performance of all servers, systems within the EMEA Intel Server infrastructure
• Troubleshoot enterprise level infrastructure, solving business impacting issues and day to day incidents
• Play a key role in providing guidance on the best-practices for VMware/Wintel architecture and performance
• Provide enterprise infrastructure design including datacentre’s, virtualisation, enterprise storage, and disaster recovery/business continuity
• Collaborate on designing and delivering new infrastructure to support the business strategy
• Suggest, design, implement and deploy new technologies to help achieve business goals
• Work closely with end users and 3rd Party suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• 6+ Years’ IT Infrastructure support experience (Enterprise Level)
• Good VMware experience
• Good Office 365 experience (Global Admin experience)
• Strong Azure experience
• MS Server, VMware and/or Azure Certification
• Citrix and/or SQL experience a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
