Enterprise People are currently seeking a Cyber Security Solutions Architect 1 Year (Hybrid) Contract based in Cork.

Reporting to the Group Technical Manager, the Cyber Security Solutions Architect will join the existing IT Security team who are responsible for the integration, evolution, and support of our client’s core Cyber Security architecture.

This is a key role within the team, where you help shape the future direction of our client’s IT Security architecture and associated technologies.

The Cyber Security Solutions Architect will:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build, configure and manage firewalls (Checkpoint and Palo Alto). Cloud Network Security Groups/Lists
• Network Routing and Switching (On-premises and Azure/Oracle cloud)
• Intrusion Prevention and Detection solutions (Palo Alto/Checkpoint APT and Vectra)
• Endpoint Detection and Response Technologies (Defender)
• Encryption Protocols
• Application Delivery (F5 LTMs and Azure/OCI Cloud Load Balancers)
• Web Application Firewalls (Akamai cloud solution)
• Web Security Gateway (Forcepoint, PRISMA)
• Penetration Testing Preparation, Scope of Work, assessment of findings and proposed mitigations

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• A 3rd Level Qualification
• A minimum of 10 Years IT Security Architecture experience
• Must hold the following certifications (or equivalent): Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• Available to work onsite in Cork 2 days per week
• Positive influencer with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organisation
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
